Jerry Savelle Ministries International released a statement announcing the well-known pastor’s passing. “We announce that Dr. Jerry Savelle, a devoted husband, father, grandpa, great grandfather, pastor, mentor, and unwavering friend, has entered his everlasting reward on this Monday, April 15, 2024, with deep sadness and holy serenity. According to a statement on the Jerry Savelle Ministries International website, “Dr. Savelle lived a life marked by an adventure in faith.”
Several of his supporters and the Ministers also posted on social media to lament the loss of their “beloved pastor.” In his eulogy, another well-known preacher, Jesse Duplantis, referred to Dr. Savelle as “a true general of the Lord” who had passed into “heaven.” Following Jerry Savelle Ministries’ statement on Monday night, tributes began to flood social media.

His spouse was Carolyn Savelle. The couple exchanged vows in 1965, a year after Dr. Savelle expressed his desire to attend college. Together, they raised two children: Terri Savelle Foy and Jerriann Savelle Welch.
Dr. Savelle felt motivated to follow a religious path at a very young age. Before he became a pastor, he was an autobody repairman. The preacher was raised on racetracks and came from modest circumstances. At nine years old, he dreamed of owning an automobile like his father.
